Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to Five Star Solutions and the AI operators we build and run for customers. If a signed order form, statement of work, DPA, BAA, or other written agreement says something different, that signed agreement controls for the conflict.

What we do

Five Star Solutions designs, builds, and operates AI operators: software that performs a defined business role across the tools a customer connects. Operators may run on a schedule, in response to an event, or when an authorized user asks them to act. The scope, fees, cancellation terms, support expectations, and any customer-specific deliverables are set in the signed customer order.

Accounts and access

Users sign in with a one-time code or Google OAuth. The product does not use password login, password reset, or stored product passwords. Customers are responsible for the people they invite, the roles they assign, the tools they connect, and the instructions they give to operators. Tell us promptly if an account, device, channel, or connected tool may be compromised.

Operator actions

Operators act on customer instructions, workflow configuration, connected-tool permissions, and approval rules. Customers are responsible for reviewing outputs and deciding which actions require human approval. Five Star Solutions may pause or block an action when it appears unsafe, unauthorized, abusive, outside the agreed scope, or likely to violate law or a third-party service's terms.

Customer data and integrations

Customer data remains the customer's data. We process it to provide, secure, support, and improve the contracted service. Customer OAuth tokens stay in connector-provider vaults where possible; our database stores connection references and metadata, not the client tool passwords themselves. Customers must have the right to connect each tool and to let the operator read or write the data in it.

Regulated data

Customers must tell us before sending PHI, financial-regulatory data, special-category personal data, or other regulated data through the service. PHI workloads require a signed customer BAA and verified subprocessor coverage before go-live. If a required provider path is not covered, the product is designed to block that path rather than route around it.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to break the law, violate someone else's rights, bypass access controls, send unlawful spam, deceive recipients, scrape data where prohibited, process raw payment-card numbers, or overload third-party systems. Operators must be configured with lawful permissions and honest sender identity for any outbound communication.

Platform ownership

Five Star Solutions owns the platform, reusable software, workflows, templates, tools, methods, documentation, and know-how behind the service. The customer owns its customer data and the customer-specific outputs and configuration created for its contracted use, subject to the signed order.

Availability and changes

The service depends on customer-connected tools and third-party providers. We may change the product to improve security, reliability, compliance, performance, or vendor coverage. We may suspend access when needed to protect the service, comply with law, prevent harm, or address non-payment or material breach.

Limits

The service is provided for business use and is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, accounting, tax, investment, or compliance advice. Customer-specific warranties, indemnities, liability caps, and dispute terms belong in the signed customer agreement. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law does not allow a limitation.
